Vivarium
Vivarium - real but not real, contained within a constrained copy of our world. It comes from the Latin, meaning literally "place of life" but it means a place enclosed, where life is conducted on a small scale in a simulation of reality, as if under a bell jar. This series of abstract images was created during lockdown, when everyday life felt like a facsimile of the real thing, a distorted actuality.
