Chernobyl Restricted Area, Ukraine: A visit to the restricted area in October 2017.  It was an experience that left more questions than answers, principal amongst these being, what happens next?  What is the future for this place? My short selection of images features interiors from some of the ruined buildings as well as some of the general surroundings in and around the Duga Radar installation and in Pripyat, where most of the Chernobyl workers lived. This was once a model town, well planned with every facility for a good quality of life. There are also images from out and about in the restricted area generally, amongst the forest,  fields and old farmsteads of once thriving farming communities, where there are still elderly survivors living, the last of their kind.
